Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: October 30, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every business that uses TextFlow to send text messages or make calls. TextFlow is operated by Unitel Global LLC. We keep TextFlow safe for the people who receive messages and for the businesses that send them. If you use TextFlow, you agree to follow these rules.

1. Get consent first

  • Only text people who have agreed to receive messages from your business.
  • Keep a record of when and how each person gave consent.
  • Get separate consent for marketing messages.
  • Do not text purchased, rented or shared phone number lists.

2. Make it easy to stop

  • Tell people how to opt out, for example "Reply STOP to opt out", in your first message.
  • Stop messaging anyone who opts out, whether they reply STOP or ask in another reasonable way.
  • Do not message a person again after they opt out, unless they sign up again.

3. Identify your business

  • Include your business name in your messages, so people know who is texting them.
  • Do not pretend to be another person or business.

4. Send at reasonable times

  • Do not send marketing messages late at night or early in the morning in the recipient's local time. TextFlow quiet hours help you with this.

5. Content that is not allowed

You may not use TextFlow to send:

  • Content that is illegal, fraudulent or misleading, including phishing and scams.
  • Sexual or adult content.
  • Hate speech, threats, harassment or content that promotes violence.
  • Messages about cannabis, illegal drugs, or the illegal sale of alcohol, tobacco or firearms.
  • High-risk financial offers such as payday loans, debt relief or get-rich-quick schemes.
  • Content that breaks the rules of mobile carriers or the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices.

6. Follow the law

You are responsible for following all laws that apply to your messages and calls, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and state texting laws.

7. Accurate registration

Give true and complete information when we register your business and your messaging campaigns with carriers, and keep it up to date.

8. What happens if these rules are broken

We may pause or stop messages, suspend or close an account, or report activity to carriers or authorities if we believe these rules have been broken. Where we can, we will tell you first.

9. Report a problem

If you receive an unwanted message sent through TextFlow, reply STOP or email support@textflow.com.
